Sir Bobby Robson passes away

Just heard the sad news that Sir Bobby Robson has passed away.
Thought he was a real character in the game and will be missed.
Glad he got to see his Charity game last week.

Can you name a more popular England manager?

Some sad faces up here in the north-east this morning. He'll be sorely missed by a lot of people, not just in the UK, but abroad too. I would expect Barcelona and PSV will be hurting too.

Legend. One of the most honourable men in football, a rare thing to see nowadays.

That's not actually hard seeing as previous names include :

Glenn Hoddle
Kevin Keegan

Graeme Turnip

and Terry Vegetables

The Sun. They gave away a four page pullout for fans of Sir Bobby.

The same gutter journalists who offered his mistress bundles of cash for her story, just before the 1990 world cup.

Private Eye.
