Hand History
Each hand you play at Gutshot Poker is recorded and stored in a text file on your computer. This record is intended to allow players to review their play or send examples of hands between friends, but the text format is difficult to read and easily manipulated.
Gutshot Poker has created a way for all players to view their hand histories straight from our secure servers in an easy-to-read web page format.
Alternatively you can upload, share and analyse your hands on our hand replayer.
Poker Characters
Gutshot Poker allows you to choose from a number of different photo-realistic characters when you sit at a table.
By default, the characters will sit with their hands on the table when the player is in the game or remove their hands from the table when they are sitting out.
If you prefer, you can remove the characters from play via the options button.
Player Nameplate
When a player sits at a table, their Nameplate will have their Poker Nickname at the top and their current chip count underneath.
During the game, the area under each player’s Nickname will change to reflect what is happening during each hand. Some of these states have colors assigned to them (Green = chips were put into play, Yellow = No action, Red = Cards folded).
You may also see some graphics around the Nameplate. The coloured icon to the top right reflects a player about whom you have previously made notes in the Note section. An icon on the top left reflects that the chat from this player is currently being ignored.
Synchronised Breaks
Synchronized breaks have now been introduced across our entire tournament schedule. If you're playing in multiple tournaments, all of your tournament tables will pause at the same time allowing you a proper rest without missing out on any of the action (or blinds).
Synchronized breaks occur at 55 minutes past the hour and include tournaments in late registration, tournaments within the first blind level and turbo tournaments within the first two levels of play.
