PLO is definitely where it's at, at the moment, especially six max and this is definitely a welcome addition to the bookshelf, with the majority of other PLO guides concentrating on full ring games. Despite sounding like a children's TV presenting duo – Rolf and Rob really know their stuff. Unlike many poker strategy books, chapters are extremely focused with specific situations looked at in high detail – rather than the more general style that is prevalent.

Don't know why Dave Gorman is on the press release, but he has a point. It's very engaging as an autobiography (or 'touching personal memoir', whatever) but also provides a great insight into how the poker boom affected the London and UK poker scenes. Vicky talks from a first-hand viewpoint about Late Night Poker and beyond, paying particular attention (naturally) to her London EPT win. Excellently written and extremely readable, there is a strong human element to the poker stories which helps make this book a great read for poker and non-poker players alike.
